Michelle Lewis Clupper is a native of Knoxville, TN, where she attended Halls High School. She received her Bachelors of Music in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2000. Mrs. Clupper began her teaching career at West Valley Middle School where she taught band for three years. During this time she assisted with the Farragut High School Marching Band in an after school capacity. In 2003, Mrs. Clupper became the Assistant Director of Bands at Farragut High School and in 2008 she took on the role of Orchestra Director as well. During her time at Farragut, she conducted the String Orchestra, co-conducted the FHS Wind Ensemble, taught Marching Band and AP Music Theory. In 2018, Mrs. Clupper and her husband Keith moved to Georgia and both accepted jobs at McEachern High School. Mrs. Clupper is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, the National Music Education Association, the American String Teachers Association and is a member of the Phi Beta Mu fraternity. Mrs. Clupper has served as Secretary for the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association for the years 2004-2008, the Executive Secretary of the Tennessee Bandmasters Association from 2008-2018 and was the Tennessee Music Education Association State Orchestra Chair from 2016-2018.
